Forced to be the man of the house when his father goes missing, Sebastian Tinsley takes the first job he can that will pay enough to hold his mother and younger brother together after they’ve sold everything they own. For safety reasons he’s not told that he’s a fast favorite employee or that he has the ability to one day turn sniper. But when he realizes that he’s being followed the truth about himself and his job starts falling into place. Putting his own personal safety on the line, Seb keeps working against the threat death so he can save his family and his personal dream angel- Millie Ankerton.

Wishing for an escape from being forced to work in a mine, Millie starts having strange dreams where she has the opportunity to be a lifesaving hero. She takes the risk saving one man’s life over and over again from the sniper out to toy with him. When that man (Sebastian) sends her a rescue party, Millie realizes that what she was doing was stealing her way into a virtual gaming world. Even more surprising is that one of the worlds she was in was created by her father who was likewise trapped in the mine. At a loss of where else to turn, Millie accepts working for Sebastian’s company with the promise that they will help get her parents free of the mines if she helps them uncover a group of hackers known as the Vikings. But finding so many people in dream worlds is mentally and physically taxing. Plus there are other snipers out there working against her, and both games and real life have a way of offering surprises.
