About:
After toppling a counterfeit organization, Lucy thinks she is done following clues from her brother. However, one jail visit later and she’s back in the game trying to figure out a whole new set of clues about her identity. Even worse, her Secret Service agent has been taken off her case now that she’s on witness protection. Disregarding the mandate to stay away from the only person she trusts, Lucy teams up with her friends to locate herself before the rest of the counterfeiters find her. In finding her identity, she loses her name, but she can never lose her friends.
We Named Her Shannon was first written in 2015 as a Christmas gift to family as a sequel to “I Named Him Larry.” After eight years of it sitting around, I have completely changed up this book! Don’t get me wrong. The characters are the same, but I took out the randomness of Lucy running around with “Click” so much without Larry. I also used Click’s real name in the second version instead of using the fake one. While this book is still not very close to protocol of the Secret Service (I don’t know those!), it is better in terms of being believable. Lucy’s actions make more sense in the second version, and the plot runs a whole lot better. It also includes better characterization which was lacking from the first version. Because of all the changes, this book had to get a new ISBN number as changing up all the content and moving it around made it a brand new book!
If you’ve never read it, now is a great time!
